Finishing touches.

I added glitter to the inside edges of the cut shape. It took a lot longer than I expected, and I made a mess everywhere, so I ended up only doing one side.

I love the way it looks, however, even when the light is off. However the burnt, natural look is just as pretty, and less attention grabbing, so if I were to sell these, then I would provide both versions.

My next step is to cut the same shape from perspex and see how the material affects the outcome. Translucent perspex looks beautiful with light shining through the edges, so I’m excited to see how it turns out.
