In my group of 5 we are making a board game similar in certain aspects to Monopoly and Game of Life, but based around student life with a points system.
The board will have three concentric square pathways, each representing a year of university as the usual length of time spent is three years. There will be 4 different coloured cards, and the squares on the board will be colour coded to match these, so whichever colour you land on dictates which card you pick up. These cards will all have events on them, both good and bad, and will tell you to add or subtract from you score- the aim is to graduate which means reaching a certain amount of points for each year.
We have delegated roles for each individual, and hope that we can get a playable prototype version of the game finished for the deadline.
