I borrowed a book from the library about contemporary textiles. There were lots of interesting and innovative designs in there, but the ones that stood out the most to me were the images above. The first is LEDs soldered into ‘threads’ which have been woven together, and the second and third is fibre optic strands threaded through loose weave fabric.
