As an alternative method of powering the LEDs I would like to have in my dress, other than a battery pack, would be to have small solar panels on the shoulders. It’s not very practical at the moment, as solar panels are bulky and expensive, but it would be a good way to make it more environmentally friendly. If it were possible to make them small enough, having each individual piece be a solar panel would be nice too.
It could also be used to charge your phone or other small electronic devices. A garment which interacts with the world around it.
