Day 9 was uneventful, I took a rest to catch up with some work stuff.
The next day, as a group we headed off to Busan on the KTX. The journey was quite nice, looking out the window was interesting as it could really have been anywhere in the world. I’m not sure why, but I thought that it would look different than it did.
When we met up with the students of Dong-A university, after having a tour around the university itself by one of the professors, we were taken around the town centre. We saw some tourist locations, such as a large bell that none of the students could explain, and drew some of the scenery.
Later on, before we met up again, we bought street food, a sweet dough with chopped nuts and melted sugar. If we hadn’t just had lunch it would have been amazing, but I was already full so it was a bit of a struggle.
In the evening we went to a KoreanBBQ place with the students, and played drinking games. After that we went to noraebang/karaoke, and had a lot of fun there singing both English and Korean songs.
In the morning, we met up with some other sutdents from a different part of the university, who showed us music. We split into two groups, and chose either traditional music or contemporary music (kpop). I was in the contemporary music group, and we had a lot of fun sharing song knowledge and performing for each other. Then we went to the museum together, and had a look at some of the exhibits there, during which time I got to spend more time with the boys there.
