Looking at the space we have been given, I have noticed that it is not being used as it was intended, and this is because the seating is uncomfortable. One student is sat on the table with his feet on the stool, and another is stood to work on his maquette.
The stools that we have been provided with are a little too high for most people, and the edges of the tables have thin edges that can be uncomfortable. Also the way the seat is sloped downwards so that the legs are angled slightly upwards means that in order to see what we are doing we need to lean forwards and arch our backs in such a way that causes pain if prolonged.
I understand that one of the reasons the stools are so high is so that we can see our work from a better angle, but that would be solved with an angled desk.
